So a few months ago I decided to try out Livingsocial Plus. I figured I'd try it out for a month or two and see if I got anything out of it.
Livingsocial Plus is a paid "upgrade," where you pay $20 a month. This converts to $20 in Deal Bucks, and you get $5 free. Now, what's the catch? You have to use the $25 during the month or you lose the $5 bonus. However, you never lose the $20 you paid.
Now, if you are the type of person who only purchases 1 or 2 every other month or so, I would say this is not for you. If, however, you are like me and purchase 1 (or 2...) every other week, then I would highlight suggest this program to you.
Not only am I getting at least 50% off of restaurants and activity tickets, but I get a free $5 too. Which, I would honestly most likely be spending anyway.
The one key thing I like about this program is that I could cancel at any time. So if I find I am not using up the $25 for two month in a row, I will likely cancel.
It's easy to sign up, and looks like it's pretty simple to cancel. So overall, I would give this feature on Livingsocial Plus a 5 out of 5 stars. I don't think it could be much easier to make $5 a month. :P
